Google vs Google Scholar

Using Google is easy but using Google Scholar is much more easier, especially when you have to do a research which requires articles and such.

Google's results are not narrowed down to our preferences and thus, most, out of the million results that we get, are irrelevant. This is because Google has results from articles to websites. Even the small little things that is similar to the tags. And therefore, most of the time, our search results will be irrelevant. However, Google would be good if you go for 'quantity'.

Google Scholar however, narrows down results by providing internet journals, articles or books of studies and researchs which are professionally written. This makes the search easier and we will get relevant results faster. Boolean operators are not required as scholar include all search terms by default. What's more, Scholar provides versions of articles. You will never drown in a big pile of irrelevant results!

By the way, I found an article in a Google search which is relevant to my study and it was the 7th. But in Scholar, it was the 5th. This means that, what you'd get in Scholar is what you would get in Google, just a little bit faster and easier!

In all, I dare say that I prefer Meta than normal web searches for intensive and critical analysis. It saves my time, my energy and hopefully, saves my myopia from getting worse as it is already.
